Welcome to the Cabin!
Purchased in November of 1967 by our beloved Ruth (Gramma D.) Donaldson, the Cabin has been a place of family connection, laughter, and celebration for nearly 60 years. We're committed to carrying that tradition forward for generations to come. In May of 2026, the property was transferred from the Donaldson Family Trust (established in 1970) into the Donaldson Family Cabin LLC, a new ownership structure that invites Gramma's grandchildren and great-grandchildren to participate in ownership of the Cabin and help steward it into the future. For LLC Members
If you are a lineal descendant of Ruth Donaldson, you have an opportunity to participate in the ownership of the cabin by becoming a member of the Donaldson Family Cabin LLC. There are two levels of membership
Original beneficiaries of the Donaldson Family Trust (grandchildren of Ruth Donaldson)
Upon termination of the Donaldson Family Trust, all beneficiaries received an ownership interest in the LLC. In order to maintain that interest, a beneficiary must sign the required LLC documents and pay annual dues. Should any beneficiary choose not to participate, they must sign the Notice of Non-Acceptance form. Their interest can be surrendered to the company or transferred to a qualified person(s). Direct descendants of an original beneficiary have an opportunity to join the LLC by signing a joinder agreement as well as the operating agreement and pay the required annual dues.
